FAQ Student Involvement and Resources Fair

The Student Involvement and Resources Fair at UMGC is an event where students and alumni can discover how they can become involved in UMGC’s student organizations, speak with staff from different student services, connect with student organization leaders, learn about support resources UMGC has for students, and more.

The event is for UMGC students and alumni who are interested in learning more about the UMGC community, discovering UMGC’s resources, and getting involved.
No, you do not need to download or install any software to participate. You only need to have internet access.
It is recommended to use a PC or laptop to participate in this event.
Google Chrome and Firefox browsers will give you the best user experience.
Attendees are not required to have a video on or to use audio to speak, there are chat options available. However, attendees should be able to hear audio for the event.
While the live interaction with student organization leaders and staff will be unavailable after the event, the booths in the Student Involvement and Resources Fair will remain open for 30 days. The booths include information and helpful files that attendees can read and download.
